Today, we had Megan, a very crafty lady who's wanted to learn to sew for quite some time now and is excited to find herself in front of the sewing machine, welcome Megan!
Jakob was back, this time he wanted to learn how to insert an invisible zipper, regular zipper, make an elastic casing AND buttons and buttonholes. He'll be making full costumes in no time!
Sadly, we had our last Pant Patternmaking Class; Ratna and Julianna did an AMAZING job on their patterns and sewing up their actual pants! I will miss seeing these ladies every Wednesday and like a proud parent I stood at the door and waved good-bye as they headed out into the world with their new pants in hand. Overall, I'd say it was a really good day!
