Childrens' Workshop

In July we had a lovely week-long workshop for children that was sooo much fun!  Four wonderful little ladies learned how to sew elastic waist skirts, in addition to learning a few embroidery techniques.  They created hand embroidered appliques with the design of their choice and attached it to their skirts.
At the end of the week we had a fashion show in which the girls showed off their creations while cheering each other on.  Of course, we had to celebrate their fantastic job, so we had cupcakes!
